Gershon's lab does clinical and genetic investigation of the major mental disorders bipol ar disorder and schizophrenia. Our major projects are on: 1) copy number variation in bipolar disorder and schizophrenia ; 2) analysis of genome-wide association data in bipolar disorder; 3) shared biological findings in patients and relatives wit h mood disorder; 4) shared endophenotypes in psychotic mood disorder and schizophrenia.
